When I first met the sellers of 1840 Magellan Drive, they were a retired couple preparing for a new chapter, moving down the Peninsula to be closer to their daughters and growing family. Their goal was simple and very clear:
Sell the home they’d loved for decades without overspending on renovations.
There was history here.
The home had been listed previously for sale decades ago without selling and the owner had preserved the design. Design trends shift every decade, and in 2024/2025, buyers are exceptionally visual. Homes that feel dated struggle, even when the structure and location are excellent.
Before

I partnered closely with a talented designer to identify the smallest set of updates that would have the biggest return.
We focused on:
Every choice was intentional, no wasted spending, no unnecessary construction.
I also coordinated directly with the contractor, stager, and additional vendors to keep the process smooth for my sellers, who were managing a move at the same time.
Despite launching right around Labor Day, typically a tricky weekend, we hosted beautifully attended open houses and generated immediate interest.
The home went into contract right away and closed in just 25 days.

It’s an example of what happens when:
My clients were able to move closer to their family with confidence, knowing they maximized their sale without overspending by even a dollar.
